Young People’s Worker – Updated

We made some amendments to the original job description advertised to make it clearer that we are looking for experience working with young people aged 13+. We have extended the deadline for applications.

Anyone who has previously applied is free to amend their application and resubmit, leave it as is or withdraw. To make any changes or to withdraw your application, please email recruitment@eos.org.uk.

We believe that every family with eczema should be able to live healthy and fulfilled lives. Do you agree? If you do, then come and join our dynamic and growing UK-wide charity.

Eczema is often underestimated and misunderstood. The reality is that it can have a huge impact on a young person’s lifestyle, affect their mental health and confidence, cause a great deal of stress for their family and much more.  As a Young People’s Worker, you will listen and provide tailored support to children and young people with eczema and their families to help them overcome the challenges they’re facing. Working closely with the rest of the team, you’ll take part in a range of activities from providing 1-1 support to young people, parents and carers, online or via phone, to enabling our Youth Panel to drive forward change.

If you are an excellent listener, motivated and resourceful, are experienced in supporting young people and families and are passionate about improving the lives of families with eczema, then we want to hear from you.

Closing date for applications is 2 March 6pm at midday. Interviews will take place Tuesday 11 March online via Zoom.
