Harris gets light therapy to help his eczema prone skin and he decided to share what is involved with the treatment.
Harris (7) from Fife has been going to hospital several times a week to get light therapy and has noticed a big difference in his skin. The treatment, also known as phototherapy, involves a light box that used UV rays and can help people with eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions.
Usually the patient starts out on a short time in the light box with this gradually increased. It can help some people with eczema and not make a big difference to others, speak to your dermatologist to find out more about phototherapy.
