EOS member Elizabeth MacKinnon came up with a ‘novel’ idea to raise money for the charity.
Elizabeth will donate £5 for every book she reads in 2020.
The mum to Iris said: “Lots of fundraising challenges involve fitness, and that isn’t for me!
“It will encourage me to read more in 2020 and raise funds for EOS.”
