Join the EOS family and bring back the joy to young people with eczema

Eczema can steal sleep, confidenceĀ and the simple joys of childhood. By fundraising forĀ EOSĀ you can help bring those moments back for families who are struggling every day. Whether you raise a little or a lot, your support makes a real difference. Follow our simple five-step guide and become anĀ EOS Fundraising Star.Ā

Step 1: Choose your activityĀ

You can fundraise by doing something you already love, or by trying something completely new. From small, fun challenges to big events, it all helps.Ā

We’veĀ shared some ideas below to get you started.Ā

Activities for kids:

Does your child like a physical challenge? They could cycle like Felix. Or walk like Evelyn. You can also explore the junior events on our Challenge Events page.Ā

Get the kids together and get sponsored to do our scavenger hunt! There’s a riddle version for older children and a picture-based one for little ones.Ā

Is your littleĀ one a book worm? Set a target number of booksĀ to read over aĀ week or a monthĀ and get family and friends to sponsorĀ them.Ā

Ideas for adults:

Try a personal challenge like ā€œWear Something Comfy Dayā€ and get sponsored to wear pyjamas to work fun and also a great way to highlight the discomfort people with eczema feel every day.Ā

Host a coffee morning, organise a bake sale, or get your pub quiz team together and dedicate your event to supporting children with eczema.

Thinking of something bigger? Check out our Challenge Events page for organised runs, walks and other large-scale activities.

Step 2: Set up your fundraising page

OnceĀ you’veĀ chosen your activityĀ thenĀ it’sĀ time toĀ set up your fundraising page (e.g. on JustGiving) as soon as you can.Ā Add a selfie, set a target, and share why you’re supporting Eczema Outreach Support.Ā

Need help with your JustGiving page? We have a guide right here.Ā

Step 3: Spread the word

You’ve chosen your challenge and set up your page – now it’s time to share it!Ā

Here are some helpful tips:Ā

      • Let everyone know – Use whichever platforms you’re on: Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or TikTok. Remember to tag us @eczemaoutreachsupport.Ā
      • Make it personal – Tell people why you’re supporting EOS. If you need ideas, our ā€œAbout Usā€ page can help.Ā
      • Use photos & videos – Show yourself training, preparing or taking part.Ā
      • Post updates – Share updates before, during and after the challenge to keep momentum going.
      • Remind people – Lots of people mean to donate but forget — gentle reminders help.Ā
      • Say thank you – It shows appreciation and encourages others to join in.Ā

Step 4: Complete your challenge

Now it’s time to complete your challenge. Remember to have fun!Ā Ā

Take lots of photos and share them with us by tagging @eczemaoutreachsupport or email them to fundraise@eos.org.uk.Ā

If you used a fundraising page, donations will come to EOS automatically. For cash donations, please use our sponsorship form and follow the instructions in our fundraising pack.Ā

Step 5: You are a fundraising star!

You did it!Ā By fundraising for EOS,Ā you’veĀ helped support children and families living with eczema, and that makes you incredible. Thank you.Ā

IfĀ you’dĀ like to inspire others, share your story and photos with us at fundraise@eos.org.uk, andĀ we’llĀ add you to ourĀ EOSĀ Fundraising StarsĀ wall of fame.Ā

Thank you for being part of the EOS family.Ā
