Setting up a giving page on Just Giving

Are you doing a fundraising event to raise money for EOS? The easiest way to collect donations is to set up a giving page on Just Giving. We’ve made a step-by-step guide to make it as easy as possible.

Our step by step guide to setting up a giving page on Just Giving

  1. Is your event part of one of our campaigns? If so, go to the relevant campaign page: Reach Out for Eczema campaign page, or Great North Run Team EOS page.  Or go straight to the EOS page to set up your own event from there. 
  2. Click “start fundraising” (or “fundraise for us”) 
  3. Sign in to your account, or click “New to Just Giving? Sign up” and create an account  
  4. When asked “Are you fundraising in memory of someone?” click “No”  
  5. Choose the option “I’m doing my own activity”  
  6. “Tell us more about your activity” – select from the dropdown whatever is most appropriate  
  7. “Activity details” – give your page a name and select a date if applicable (date optional) 
  8. “How much would you like to raise?” Set a target amount  
  9. “Personalise your page” – you can choose to just use the information we’ve provided, or you can write your own if you prefer. A personal story of why you are fundraising will be much more likely to raise donations 
  10. “Add a cover photo or video” Upload a cover photo to personalise it or use ours  
  11. Click on “Finalise”  
  12. Click on “Launch my page”  

All done! Now you can share your page via WhatsApp, email or socials and start raising those donations.
