The best way to support children with eczema is with a regular monthly gift. Donations like this allow us to plan for the future, ensuring that every family who joins EOS will be able to receive our continuing support, helping young people reach their full potential unrestrained by eczema. 

But…

Why not also support EOS while doing what you were going to do anyway? Shopping! Best of all, it’s at absolutely no cost to you. Just sign up to Easyfundraising and choose Eczema Outreach Support as your cause. We’ll receive a donation each time you shop at one of the thousands of participating retailers. 

There are just 3 easy steps –  

  1. Go to easyfundraising.org.uk and sign up for free. You can use your computer or your phone, wherever you prefer to shop (or both!), just make sure to choose Eczema Outreach Support as your cause
  2. Turn on the donation reminder (Easyfundraising will guide you how when you set up, or check out our FAQs below) 
  3. Start shopping! Every time you shop at a participating online retailer, the reminder will pop up and ask if you want to donate to EOS. Simply click ‘yes’, and when you finish your shop the retailer will make a free donation to us and it won’t cost you a penny extra 

That’s it – an easy way to raise money for EOS while you shop online. So whether it’s your weekly grocery shop, or the annual insurance, you can help families with eczema with every purchase. As an extra incentive, for every 5 shops you make you can enter EOS into a monthly draw for £1,000!

What is Easyfundraising? 

easyfundraising® is the UK’s biggest charity shopping fundraising site 

It’s simple to use and it’s free. Since it launched in 2005, they’ve helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Their community of over 1.8 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £31 million.  

Is there any cost to charitable organisations or to customers? 

No. There is no cost to charitable organisations or to Easyfundraising users. The shopping experience is identical to visiting the retailer direct with the added benefit that the retailer will donate to the charitable organisations selected by customers. 

Why is it free? 

Like price comparison websites, Easyfundraising makes money through affiliate marketing. This means that retailers pay them commission each time a sale is made with them through their site and they pass at least 50% of this on to the cause of the supporter’s choice. The donation rate shown on their website is what’s paid to a cause when one of their supporters buys something from a retailer. 

What is the donation reminder? 

The Donation Reminder is a little alert that pops up and tells you when a donation is available while you are shopping on your internet browser. You can add it to your computer, phone or iPad as an extension or in the permissions in the app. Easyfundraising provides very simple, clear instructions on how to do this once you have signed up, or you can find those instructions here. 

I don’t want to use the donation reminder, can I still use Easyfundraising to make free donations to EOS? 

Yes, the donation reminder is completely optional. Just sign up for Easyfundraising and start each shop from their website or app. Just remember to go back and start from Easyfundraising again if you don’t complete your purchase in one go – unfortunately retailers won’t remember the donation for any shops left in baskets and returned to later.
